Most of the times people confuse marketing with selling or advertising or promotion. Some people just consider all as synonyms! Well, that certainly isn't true. So I thought since I'm going to have a career in marketing why not end my final blog with something educational yet relatable!
Successful marketing is when you are able to convince your customers that you are a good candidate for whatever goods or services your business provides. They should choose you over your competitors for whatever reason. Marketing is more than just making a profit. It's business with customer satisfaction.
1. Product
Your product can be tailored according to the needs of your customers.
2. Price
This all-important factor will play a big part in determining who your business attracts. A product or service’s price point can be lowered or raised to appeal to certain audiences.
3. Promotion
This is mainly where advertising plays a major role. From getting customers to pay attention to your brand to influencing and persuading them is done through the promotion mix, Adversting being the most common one.
4. Place
Place involves both elements of where your business is located and where your goods or services are made or performed, as well as where you are advertising your offerings.
1. Market research is key- This assures you're catering to your target audience
2. USP to stand out- Realizing what makes your business stand out from its competition is the first step in creating a successful marketing approach.
3. Mode of the campaign- If you are aiming your goods or services at a young, tech-friendly generation, social media marketing might be the way to go. But if you are primarily targeting your business to an audience of senior citizens, daytime television commercials might work well.
4. Attraction and Satisfaction- Identifying a mixed market that will aid you in attracting the attention of likely consumers and then satisfying the needs of your customer base.

I feel it is easy for beginners to understand the basics with the help of this article. Marketing is a broad concept anyway!
